These unique sisal baskets are created using traditional Kenyan basket weaving techniques that have been passed down through generations, and are still practiced today. The leaves of the sisal plant are used to obtain a fibre which is naturally dyed, rolled into twine, and then woven into baskets, making this a very labour intensive art.
Care: Wipe with a damp cloth to clean. Colours may run if wet, and may fade if exposed to direct sunlight due to natural dyes used.
