As we work with small workshops around the world, the process is a slow one. Our focus is on small stock-lots based on the crafters capacity. We are not about fast fashion and mass production. We are about character and the human touch. If you wish to order a larger quantity, please email us directly

As all product is handmade in family craft workshops around the world the goods may vary in colour, size, shape and appearance from the image on our site. This is the nature and beauty of our handmade ethically-sourced product. Enjoy your one-of-a-kind piece!

  1. We have tried to keep shopping at ‘The Storer’ is easy as possible, we understand that you value your time and are trying to find a slow path. If you know what you are looking for, use the shop link and select a category: Wood, Ceramics, Décor, Glass, Paper, etc. Need inspiration? Check out our Instagram or Facebook accounts to see what we have been up to.
  2. Once you have found what you have been looking for, click on the “add to cart” button. Each item is shown in a Rand currency. You will then be taken to the next screen, where you can update your quantity and either continue shopping, or checkout.
  3. You will be asked to register an account with us. By registering on the site, you can track your order, create a Wish List, and keep up to date with special offers and promotions.
  4. Simply follow the prompts, finalise your payment with EFT or Payfast and your order will be confirmed at the last step.

We accept EFT and Payfast payment for online orders.

Orders delivered within major cities in South Africa will be charged at R150 per order. International orders will be levied based on weight and actual shipping costs. Orders will be sent out via Fastways Courier Service.

We aim to process and ship all orders within 3-5 business days (Mon-Fri). Delivery times are to be used as a guide and commence from the date of shipment. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking number, which you can track online via the Fastways Courier Service website.

You may return an unwanted product provided that:

  1. The goods are undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
  2. The goods are still in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable);
  3. The goods are not missing any accessories or parts;
  4. You log a return with ‘The Storer’ within 14 days of receiving the product.

A refund will be issued for returns logged within 7 days of being received.

A credit note will be issued for returns logged within 7-14 days of being received.

A 7% handling fee will be deducted for all returns, and returns are at the customer’s cost.

Once we have inspected the goods and validated your return, we will issue you with a refund or credit note within 8 days. We are entitled to refuse a return if the unwanted product is either returned damaged, is not in a re-saleable condition or is missing any accessories.

If the goods received by you were incorrectly despatched or are missing accessories, please notify us within 7 days. Once we have inspected them and validated your return, we will, at your discretion, either deliver the correct product (if it is available) to you as soon as possible; or credit you with the purchase price of the product within 8 days of the return.

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault is apparent. Please note that items that are damaged because of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you would like to exchange a faulty item, we can only replace it for the same product, subject to availability.
